Goal

IETC's goal is to provide the local Muslim community of Cumbernauld and surrounding areas with its first Mosque and Islamic Centre.

Vision

Our vision is to provide activities that are not solely about providing the basic Islamic services for the local community, but also to share Islam's view of life, society and the future with the world at large. Provide a range of holistic, culturally sensitive services for the communities of Cumbernauld and surrounding areas, drawing on our Islamic values and heritage, with a view to improving quality of life and enhancing community cohesion.

Participation of Women and Youth

IETC is hoping to offer a range of services that will enable young people and women to engage in a positive and safe environment.

Facilities will be provided to allow women to access relevant services which will include special events, education, social support, mother and toddlers group. The ethos of IETC will be to provide choice and to empower sections of our community who may feel isolated from mainstream services.
